To be eligible, you will need to have been a continuous member with Bupa for at least two months, and your membership will need to be fully paid as of the suspension date. Memberships can be suspended three times per calendar year for a maximum of 9 months. Read FAQ’s of Bupa OVHC for more details.

What happens to the unused premiums in Suspension vs Cancelling?

When you Suspend the policy, the unused premium amount will be put on hold, and will be used later when policy is reactivated again. However, Cancelling means stopping the policy altogether and receiving the refund of the unused premiums, also means policy holder will start from Day 0, when they return.
